Naomi butts heads with the Blaze’s new faculty advisor, Mr. Cannon, over her racy gossip news segments, and is somewhat humiliated by being reprimanded in front of her peers. After failing to convince Navid to back her opinion, Naomi decides to tell a tiny lie about Mr. Cannon sexually harassing female students, which soon snowballs out of control. Adrianna is now the lead singer of the all-girl band, the Glorious Steinems, and confides in Silver, Naomi, and Annie about her newfound feelings for Gia, and the two go out on their first official date. Meanwhile, Teddy decides to test Silver by attempting to make her jealous. Dixon and his birthmother, Dana, continue to bond. Liam catches his stepfather with another woman and confronts him with his fist-to-the-face which leads to Liam leaving home. Gia encourages Adrianna to audition for the lead singer in a new all-girl rock band and admits she has a crush on Adrianna who doesn’t know how to respond to this news. Dixon’s birthmother, Dana, shows up at the Wilsons for a surprise visit and tries to develop a relationship with her son. Silver and Teddy go on their first official date but Silver finds it difficult to deal with Teddy’s playboy past and enlists Naomi’s help to track his whereabouts. Navid returns to West Beverly High from his suspension (after Jasper framed him for drug posession) to find that Naomi has taken over Blaze News and started a gossip segment, which he adamantly opposes. Navid decides to get back into the dating scene by asking fellow Blazer, Lila, out on a date, his first since breaking up with Adrianna. As Annie re-establishes her friendships with Naomi, Silver, and Adrianna, she realizes that Jasper has started following her around town and is frustrated that she cannot confide in anyone about what is going on with her out of fear that someone will figure out her secret. Naomi, Silver and Adrianna go shopping at the Palisades Mall and run into Annie and Jasper on a date which makes them suspicious since Annie continues to refuse to talk with them on why she’s still with Jasper despite knowing his true nature. Jasper continues to blackmail Annie with photographic proof of her hit-and-run, but she gives Jasper an ultimatum by threatening to drag him down with her, which finally puts her mind at ease. Meanwhile, Naomi enlists Ivy’s help in reducing the awkwardness with Liam and the three decide to go on a nature hike, something Naomi has never done. Naomi discovers Ivy’s ulterior motives to makes the moves onto Liam, and confronts her by pushing her face in the sand. Adrianna and Gia’s friendship continues to develop when the two throw a pity party for themselves. Silver and Teddy toy with the idea of trying to make a relationship work. Ryan meets a free-spirited woman, named Laurel, at a bar, but soon they move to her car so they can get to know each other even better. Later, Ryan learns that Laurel is Ivy’s hippie mother. After a date with Clark, Lois is shot with an arrow by a man dressed as the Green Arrow. Later, Chloe is attacked by the same individual. Oliver begins investigating and discovers that an old mentor, named Vordigan, is the one behind the attacks. Meanwhile, Zod tells Clark that the Kryptonians are waiting on Clark to help them all get their powers, and that they will resort to anything to get them. Oliver’s old mentor kidnaps Mia, Oliver’s new apprentice, and uses her as bait to lure Oliver in and force him to kill Vordigan, who believes that he must die at the hands of his own disciple. Instead, Oliver only injures Vordigan and leaves him for the police. After Clark discovers that Zod visited Lois in the hospital, Clark tells him that he will not help the Kryptonians gain their powers and threatens to destroy all of them if they go near Lois again. continue reading…
