There are still rural areas here in Batangas. One of the source of income here is from livestock. Batanguenos raise hogs, poultry and cattle to earn a living. Like in the cattle industry, cattle supplies are high in demand. Agricultural commodities has been surging since early 2007, and has remained rather resilient to the turmoil of the financial sectors of today.
