Sony (SNE) announcement is not about the Playstation 3 (PS3) neither the Playstation Portable (PSP). Sony’s official announcement today is about the price cut of an older system with no HDMI support and outdated games PS2. PS2 has now a retail price of $100 or $99.99, a $30 less expensive. This big announcement from Sony is their preparation against Onlive, a new gaming system. PS3 remains on its $400 tag.
