to those of us who know what the competition is truly about, we know and understand what talent and singing is about. Originality,uniqueness and delivering a song in a way that gets your attention. As Simon says, making it memorable. To do that, the song must first be sung. American Idol is not about being cute, or so handsome, (this helps), but it is about singing. How sad many Americans miss that. How sad many Americans are tone death. So to we who know music and have an ear to hear, I would keep an eye on Adam, Alison, Danny, and Lil(if she chooses the right songs). Megan needs to and should have gone home a long time ago. She would make a great model, however.

There are so many Megan haters on the internet, but there are perhaps millions of us who LOVE her. I pity those who are so downright BLIND as not to see how uniquely talented she is. Well, I can’t blame these people, maybe they have no talent and they pick on Megan. The judges see her magnificent talent. You don’t appreciate her because you want generic and screaming singers like Lil, Allison and Adam. The others are very boring: DANNY GOKEY in particular.

i voted for adam like 500 times last night.. i LOVED his performance last night. i love him.. but i was a little dissapointed with the johnny cash song. nobody can mess with johnny cashs songs like that. he is a legend.. but i think adam deserves to win.. along with danny of course :]]

#35 c/w is the only one who has it right. Absolutely–Adam, Alison, Danny, and (maybe Lil). Certainly the first three either way will have record deals. Megan? anyone who thinks Megan has any chance of being America’s next idol has no music or marketing sense. She appeared to have a certain “style” with her first song, quirky moves, and odd pronunciation of words like “down”. Since then, she has been trying to find herself, and in doing so has revealed that she probably has the least sense of who she was. It boils down to this–she had one song she could do well. Now, she might have a career in film, but not music. And anyone who says Adam can’t sing also has no music or marketing sense. You have four premier people in the music industry week after week, and last night two motown legends give a standing ovation, to this man who is truly an amazing artist. He can sing, dance, compose, create and deliver an exciting performance. He is hot, and even girls who think he’s gay don’t care….he is HOT! People not only want to hear him, but they want to see him….he will be in the same league as Madonna and Britney–not that I consider them to be musician’s with the musical talent of Adam, but they have gained fame not only for what they sing, but for their delivery, their stage presence and the fact that much of what they are famous for is their stage persona–people want to see them

You guys are crazy if Megan is in your top 5 she can’t sing nor perform what is that crazy thing she does with her hips when singing it is anoying Ive never seen somebody miss so many notes while performing. If Megan is in your top 5, if you ever drop your playlist i will be sure to return it or do you a favor and trash it.

Megan is the only person on the show that would make a good solo artist. everyone else is blahhhhhhhhh. who wants to listen to somone who sounds like everyone else??? She is the only artist on the show EVER that sounds as original and awesome as her.

I value people’s opinions, and that’s why these sites are created – So I will state, in my opinion, Megan is my favorite. Not because she has the best voice, but because she’s different. I’m so sick of hearing the SAME thing over and over again on these shows. To be honest, I haven’t watched American Idol since the first season and just happened to be flipping through the channels when Megan was auditioning and she’s the only reason I decided to watch this season. I’m so happy that she is still in the competition. She deserves to in it and she deserves to be the winner. =)

I can’t believe Matt was in the bottom 3 I think he’s not getting the credit he deserves because of other people’s stories on the show (we won’t say any names). Meghan should have never been put in the top 13 by the judges…Ricky was way better than she was.

This is my least favorite season. I think Adam is full of himself. He tries to act “humble” but he knows the judges love him. That’s another thing, the way the judges fall all over him, I don’t know why the other contestants don’t just pack their bags and head home. I personally walk out of the room every time he performs.

I am so glad Megan stayed! She is awesome, her voice is really cool and really different, I know a lot of people don’t like her style but its totally cool. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. Matt should NOT have been in the bottom 3. Scott is definitely more gospel but he is really really talented, I just don’t think he’s idol talented. Adam is amazing, sure ring of fire sucked but who doesn’t make a mistake or 2 in the show. I think that they are all really talented but I’ll bet you that Adam wins. He’s insane!

This season Idol season is the worst ever!!! They’ve made all sorts of changes that don’t compliment the show, and most of the contestants have no personality and are really boring!!! Come on, don’t you remember Brooke, Carly, Jason, Syesha, Michael, Kristy, Ramielle and the Davids from last season??? This group can’t compare to them. I don’t even care for the show anymore.
