Last night episode of American Idol was a great one! The final group of 12 semi-finalists consists of Arianna Afsar, Felicia Barton, Kendall Beard, Ju’not Joyner, Scott MacIntyre, Nathaniel Marshall, Kristen McNamara, Jorge Nuñez, Lil Rounds, Von Smith, Taylor Vaifanua and Alex Wagner-Trugman has sang their way to win the votes of the audiences. Finally, America has voted and 3 semi-finalist will move on the next round. The 3 semi-finalists who will join the Top 12 list are
1. Scott MacIntyre, 23-year-old blind musician from Scottsdale, Arizona. He’s a pianist, vocalist, and songwriter and has independently produced, engineered, and released 6 full-length CD’s and has written in genres spanning pop, rock, punk, jazz, and classical. He sang “Mandolin Rain” by Bruce Hornsby and the Range.
2. Lil Rounds, 23-year-old customer service representative and a mother of 3 from Memphis, Tennessee. She sang “Be Without You” by Mary J. Blige.
3. Jorge Nunez, 20-year-old fourth year student at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. He sang “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John.
That’s all for tonight! We have to wait for the Wild Card Round on March 5 to know who will fill in the 3 remaining spots on the Top 12 List.
