I stumbled upon Gem’s interesting article about “Paypal to Smart Money: It’s Possible!”. She mentioned that using this card will only charge you P2.50 per transfer (7,000 up). However, I got confused after reading the whole content. She said that she withdrew paypal funds using a Unionbank EON bank account then later transferred it to her Smart Money Card. Meaning, she’s still withdrawing paypal funds using her Eon account then transferring it in her Smart money account, am I right? I think she’s telling us that we can avoid the hustle of claiming paypal funds in our local banks by availing this card. Anyway, here are some facts about withdrawing paypal funds through local banks.
- Your paypal account must be verified first before you can withdraw funds through local banks.
- You will need a credit card or an Eon Visa Electron Card to verify your paypal account. Your credit card or Eon card must have an amount of $2 (around P90). This amount will be deducted in your Eon account to complete the verification process.
- Once your paypal is verified, you can now enroll your bank account to withdraw funds.
- Additional info on enrolling your bank account can be found here.
