Give me a freakin break! This country is race OBSESSED! Sean Delonas has the right–the constitutional right, to draw, think, or write whatever he pleases. It’s too bad if someone gets their feelings hurt. That’s the price of free speech. And, he does look like a chimpanzee.

The parody went over most of their heads. Obviously the result of a public school education.

Al Sharpton needs to get a REAL job. Every time there is ANYTHING that could possibly be construed as racist, he’s right there throwing down the race card.

With this… you really have to stretch it to get there. Time will tell how close to the truth this little cartoon really is. Although the economy isn’t anywhere near what it was in 1930, the monies they’ve allocated for their stimulus package would have a more immediate effect on the economy if they’d spend $20B – $50B on defense. As is, it will have little or no effect.

As a black man i am not offended by this blatent stupidity. Black people know that the persons responsible for this is attempting to test the will of God Almighty himself,so keep your head up.

By the way, this has the smell of a republican artist all over it.

I am outraged by the nerve of this political “artist” to publish such an outright racist piece of work. Our country has overcame racism, or at least we thought we had. I guess some things will never change.

The “artist” should be fired and the paper it was published in should be shut down! No one deserves to be compared to a monkey and those who think that this is okay are very ignorant people.

This cartoon is merely making the statment that idiots are making life and death decisions for the rest of us…THAT IS ALL!

George Bush. was depicted as a monkey, as Hitler, and all kinds of things like that but no one had a little pity party over it…lol

Last I checked authorship of the stimulus was turned over to the “all powerful” House and Senate before our President took office. So all you democratic Racist Mongers need to just calm down over a harmless cartoon that could have meant many things……or you can keep SCREAMING racism every chance you get. GET A LIFE!!!!

Racist people like Al Sharpton should read the United States Constitution. Two things should be hi-lighted here: the cartoonist has the freedom of speech and it is Congress, not the President (Obama) who writes the bills. By the way, I thought it was funny. Keep up the good work. We have four years of this monkey business.

Al Sharpton is wise to yelp about this cartoon. A number of times Delonas insulted Al Sharpton by depicting him as 1000 lbs overweight AND continually passing gut gas. Delonas also used stereotypes of gays .
Al Sharpton, however, is no angel either. He certainly did NOT act like a Christian in an emotionally charged interview mediated by Downey, where he ended up in a brawl on the stage ! He also has NO interest in a crisis that doesn’t involve at least one black person as a victim.
