New York Yankee legend Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez was declared dead according to Onion Sports News. The New York Yankee third baseman and three-time American League Most Valuable Player A-rod died at the age of 33 last saturday. A-Rod was born July 27, 1975 is a Dominican American professional baseball player. Rodriguez has received the nickname “The Cooler” among players because of the perceived tendency for teams to turn cold when he joins them and hot when he leaves and because of his negative influence on team chemistry.
On February 7, 2009, Sports Illustrated reported that A-Rodz was positive for two anabolic steroids, testosterone and Primobolan, during his 2003 season playing shortstop for the Texas Rangers, the same season in which he captured his first American League Most Valuable Player award, broke 300 career home runs, and earned one of his ten Silver Slugger Awards.
