Do you own a Flip Ultra series F260 camcorder or planning to buy one? If yes, then it’s not worth it. Why? Because when the program of this videocam stuck-up or hung, you can’t use it anymore. Here’s my story. I owned a Pure Digital Flip Ultra Series F260 Camcorder. Yeah, it’s handy and you can upload your videos right away using it’s built in USB plug. Flip Ultra uses an AVI video format and has a 1GB of storage capacity. Cool? Not!

Here’s the problem. When you switch it on and the startup logo hang or stuck-up, you can not use it and even turn it off. You have to remove the battery then place it again to reset it. But if the problem still occurs, you can not resolve it by doing the same thing again. Even the customer service from Flip could not resolve it. They will just tell you the same thing, “to remove the battery for a couple of seconds then put it back to reset it.” They may even tell you to download it’s software to refresh it. Resolve? Not Again! So if your planning to buy this Pure Digital Flip Ultra Series F260 Camcorder, think twice. Buy a Flip Mino instead! Why, the answer is simple, it has a reset button underneath it! :-)
