The Dead – The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart say they’ll embark on their first official Dead tour since 2004. The tour will be called “An Evening With.” It will begin in April in North Carolina and Close in Mountain View, CA. The band will play 19 shows across 16 cities, joined by keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and Allman Brothers Band/Gov’t Mule guitarist Warren Haynes.

The Grateful Dead was an American rock band formed in 1965 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The band was known for its unique and eclectic style, which fused elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, country, jazz, psychedelia, space rock and gospel—and for live performances of long musical improvisation.
