Apple CEO Steve Jobs is not dead. MacRumorsLive keynote coverage was hacked today, inserting inappropriate content into the text and photo feeds. MacRumors live coverage of Macworld Expo 2009 was infiltrated, with someone adding the false news of Steve Jobs’s death to the blow-by-blow reports. The hack appears to be limited to the MacRumorsLive servers only. This is on the heels of yesterday’s Twitter hacking, where the accounts of Barack Obama, Britney Spears, and other prominent users were all compromised and littered with bizarre messages.

The 53-year-old tech icon Steve Jobs became the center of attention when he sought to squelch rumors about his health by publicly attributing his noticeable weight loss over the past year to a treatable hormonal imbalance and not the pancreatic tumor that surgeons removed in 2004.
