Oops, Chief Justice John Roberts screwed President Obama’s oath of office during the inauguration. Roberts misplaced the word “faithfully” in the oath of office during the formal ceremony on the west front of the U.S. Capitol. Roberts recited to “execute the office of president to the United States faithfully,” instead of the correct clause to “faithfully execute the office of president of the United States.” The president retook the oath of office in the Map Room of the White House one day after his inauguration.
