The first episode of American Idol Season 8 premieres at 8 p.m. today on WAWS TV-30. In the Philippines, American Idol Season 8 will have a two-night premiere on January 14 and 15 via QTV-11, the sister channel of GMA-7.
Update: A filipino named Malcolm Echaluce did not make it to the top 50.
