Samsung Electronics in South Korea unveiled the world’s slimmest LCD TV. The new Samsung Bordeaux 850 LCD TV is a 6.5mm-thick-flat TV equipped with an LED backlight. It is thinner than any other existing TV set, and even slimmer than most mobile handsets. The ultra-slim TV has the technologiesof Auto Motion Plus 120Hz, which reduces motion blur, and Wide Color Control Pro, which produces a wide spectrum of colors. The new Samsung Bordeaux 850 will be on display at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11.
