Gretchen Espina, the daughter of Biliran province’s governor won the title of the first Pinoy Idol. Gretchen won 1 million cash, GMA Management contract, recording contract from Sony BMG, a brand new Mitsubishi EX 2008, and an Avida Towers condo unit in New Manila.
Gretchen Stephanie Espina, 20, is the daughter of Rogelio J. Espina, the governor of Biliran. She is studying in the University of the Philippines, Diliman where she is a member of the internationally-acclaimed University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors (UPSA).
