Well we’ve read, heard and watched the news about the “The Dark Knight” movie is the biggest box office hit of 2008 with $42,664,219 in ticket sales in 4,266 locations.
Even though the movie was succesful. There was a strange phenomenon being called “The Dark Knight curse,” a hex on the cast of the Batman movie. If you still remember, nearly one year ago, Conway Wickliffe, a special effects artist who worked on the film, was killed during filming a chase scene. Heath Ledger (played the character of Joker) died of an overdose of sleeping medications and painkillers in January after wrapping filming on “The Dark Knight.”
While Christian Bale’s (played the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman) mother and sister filed a complaint with local police alleging the actor had assaulted them the day before the big “Dark Knight” premiere in London.
And now Morgan Freeman (played the character of Lucius Fox), has been in a one-car accident in Mississippi and has been airlifted to a hospital in Tennessee.
Is there a “Dark Knight” curse? Or is this just a series of eerie coincidences?
