The 24-year-old Fil-Am film and TV actor Sam Milby is the new youth spokesperson of Department of Education (DepEd). The agency will formally announce Milby’s inclusion as a youth role model in next September’s national leadership training for student government officers at Teachers Camp in Baguio City.

Samuel Lloyd L. Milby “Sam Milby”, is the youngest child of Lloyd Milby, an entrepreneur from Dayton, Ohio, and Elsie Lacia, a native of Tago, Surigao del Sur. He was a former ice skating contest medalist, grew up in Troy, Ohio. He currently appears in a Sunday musical variety show, ASAP ‘08, through the segment called ‘The Hearththrobs’ with Piolo Pascual and John Lloyd Cruz.
