Garra rufa and Cyprinion macrostomus (also known as Doctor fish, nibble fish, kangal fish, and doctorfishen) are the two species of fish that originated from a hot spring near Kangal in Turkey where they were first discovered for their healing power. These fish can feed themselves on the dead cells of the human body, since they only consume such cells, leaving the healthy skin of the human body to grow.
