Samsung has officially announced the 16GB and 8GB versions of SGH-i900, along with its new name, Omnia. Samsung i900 Omnia has Windows Mobile 6.1 operating systems and 7.2 HSDPA capabilities.
It features a 5MP camera with smile detection and geo-tagging features which betters the 2MP camera of the iPhone. The phone supports quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE capabilities. The large 3.2 inch QVGA display presents a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels.
Samsumg i900 is set to arrive in the European markets by June this year. The 16GB version will first be available at S$1,098 and those interested will be able to buy one right after CommunicAsia on June 17 from stores and operators.
