
Taal Volcano is the smallest active volcano in the world. Taal is only 50 kilometers south of Manila on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Taal volcano island can be reached by taking a half-hour boat ride from practically any town on the the shores of Taal Lake. The most popular jumpoff point is from the town of Talisay, Batangas.

Taal Crater Lake can be reached by taking a 6km boat ride from Talisay, Batangas and then by horseback ride for about 25 minutes or by hiking for about 45 minutes.

Tagaytay is a third class city in the province of Cavite, Philippines, 55 kilometers away from Manila. Tagaytay is a tourist attraction for local and foreign visitors. It is an excellent vantage point of Taal Lake and Volcano.
