Hodgkin’s lymphoma, also known as Hodgkin’s disease, is characterized clinically by the orderly spread of disease from one lymph node group to another and by the development of systemic symptoms with advanced disease. Hodgkin’s lymphoma treatment options include radiation, chemotherapy or a bone marrow transplant. The disease is highly treatable with potential for full recovery, according to www.mayoclinic.com. As many as 95 percent of patients with stage I or stage II Hodgkin’s disease survive for five years or more with treatment.
