Have your Swiss knife ready because the famous 80’s TV show “MacGyver” will hit the big screen. According to Gizmodo, creator Lee David Zlotoff has announced the planning stages of the big budget movie at Maker Faire 2008.

MacGyver is action-adventure series, it was first telecast on September 29, 1985 and ended last August 8, 1992. Richard Dean Anderson played the role of MacGyver as a rugged, handsome hero who preferred to use paper clips and candy bars rather than more conventional weapons. A a former Special Forces agent now working for the Phoenix Foundation, a “think tank” dedicated to righting wrongs and defeating bad guys around the world.

I wonder how many duck tape and chewing gum they will use in this movie!lol! :-)
