Apple Inc have confirmed they will launch iPhone to Singapore, India, Philippines, and Australia later this year. SingTel will bring the iPhone to its 2.3 million subscribers in Singapore. Bharti Airtel will offer it to its 64 million customers in India. Globe Telecom will offer it to 21 million subscribers in the Philippines. Optus will offer it to its 7 million customers in Australia.

The iPhone is a quadband GSM/GPRS handset with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It measures just 11.6mm thin, making it slimmer than the Moto Q and Dopod C720W. Also onboard are a 2-megapixel camera, 3.5mm audio jack and wake/sleep switch.
