Harmonix Music Systems has announced the popular virtual music game “Rock Band” will make the leap to Nintendo’s Wii this summer. Harmonix said that Rock Band for Wii contains the same basic 63-song set as that for other platforms, plus five bonus tracks culled from expansion packs available on the other systems. The Wii version still contains the robust four-player band experience and all the fun at the core of other versions of ‘Rock Band. However, there’s no online, no downloadable content as of now. Rock Band Wii will be release on June 22 and the game will sell for $170. The drums, microphone and wireless guitar will also be available for purchase separately on June 22nd as well.
