Hewlett Packard has unveiled the HP Pavilion dv3000, the company’s first entertainment notebook PC with a 13.3-inch display.

It has a 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo “Penryn” T9300 CPU and GeForce 8400M GS graphics. 2GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB HDD, 802.11n WiFi, dual-layer DVD burner, Bluetooth 2.0 3 USB 2.0 ports and eSATA port. The HP dv3000 includes Intel’s 802.11a/b/g wireless module with optional 802.11 draft-n and Bluetooth connectivity, an Etnernet LAN port, and a 56k modem.

A multimedia remote, ExpressCard/34 and pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium are also provided with the dv3000. The dv3000 will weight 2kg with the 6-cell battery and have dimensions of the order 320 x 228 x 38 mm. It’s first expected to be available in the Asian market by May, with a starting price of $1,399.
